The operations of the CIRCWASTE project are focused on the regions of North Karelia, Central Finland, South Karelia and Southwest Finland. Almost 20 pilot projects that will produce concrete results will be carried out in these regions.
Examples of subprojects include developing recycling parks and new recycling operations, reusing plastic fractions, developing the distribution of surplus food, producing biogas, smart control systems and creating industrial symbioses.
